Compatible Ammunition

KRISS USA firearms are precision engineered to operate within specific ammunition parameters. It is up to the user to ensure that the ammunition used with KRISS USA firearms fall within the required specifications. Only use new, high quality, commercially manufactured ammunition of the correct caliber with internal ballistic pressures which are in strict accordance with the specifications of the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute (SAAMI) or are Commission Internationale Permanente pour l’Epreuve des Armes à Feu Portatives (CIP) certified. NEVER use non-standard, reloaded, or “handloaded” ammunition which has not been subjected to internal ballistic pressure testing.

Ammunition that has not been commercially manufactured cannot be guaranteed to meet KRISS USA firearm operation parameters and may have many other manufacturing and quality variables. Ammunition that has been improperly manufactured may fail to fire or may stress the firearm to a point that excessive internal pressures are generated which can damage or even rupture the firearm, causing personal injury to the shooter or those in the immediate vicinity. The use of any “handloaded,” remanufactured, or otherwise “out-of-spec” ammunition will void your warranty.

Using aluminum or steel-cased ammunition is not recommended.

Only use ammunition of the correct caliber for your Vector. We do not recommend using any other caliber ammunition apart from what your Vector is chambered in. Using incorrect caliber ammunition for your Vector will void your warranty and may lead to property damage and/or personal injury.

Ensure that your ammunition is free of defects, dirt, debris, lubrication, or anything that may cause malfunctions.

Special notes:

For the centerfire KRISS Vector line, +P ammunition may be used, however this greatly increases wear and tear to your firearm. We recommend against using +P+ ammunition.

For the rimfire KRISS Vector 22, use ammunition with a rated velocity above 950 FPS and with a lead or copper-tipped bullet.

For the KRISS DMK22 line, use ammunition with a rated velocity between 1070 FPS and 1640 FPS, with a lead or copper-tipped bullet.
